Owner of T.E.G. Entertainment
Trevor has been involved in the entertainment industry since he was a teenager when he was a background actor in a variety of movies and commercials. Since that time, his passion for the industry has grown and he’s been a dancer, a club promoter, a talent scout, and a photographer. At 18-years-old he was scouted by MuchMusic as he danced in a Toronto club, and he was hired to dance on a popular MuchMusic television show, Electric Circus, for 4 years. While on the show he toured the country, dancing in front of large crowds at events, and meeting celebrities on a regular basis. Trevor became very comfortable in front of the camera, and his confidence grew.
He also enjoyed interacting with a variety of people, including international musicians and actors, and built a large network of contacts within the entertainment industry. During that time Trevor learned the “ins and outs” of the industry—knowledge he would use throughout his life and to establish his business. Trevor was also a manager of a clothing store in his hometown. He organized several successful in-store events at clothing stores with his friends and contacts he made while dancing on MuchMusic. Soon larger stores, such as The Hudson’s Bay Company, noticed his success and asked Trevor to book in-store events for them. He made a name for himself and became very well-known in his local retail industry. Born out of his love for dance, Trevor founded T.E.G Entertainment in 1999.
T.E.G. Entertainment’s success grew, and Trevor put together a couple of dance groups, helping to choreograph their dance routines, and organizing TV appearances—such as Breakfast Television—and waterfront festivals. Trevor also worked as a club promoter for several years. As a club promoter he got people on the guest list, hired bouncers, bartenders, and organized product launches. At this time, T.E.G. Entertainment began hiring promotional models for such events, including Desperados Tequila Beer product launch, an imported beer from France. T.E.G. Entertainment annually hosts the exclusive ABA Hair Show Afterparty in Toronto, and regularly recruits hair models for the event.
